Cubiware software is used to power Native User Interface applications running on IPTV and DVB devices. Our revolutionary graphics rendering engine makes it possible to deliver fast and sleek applications, menus and Program Guides on modern and legacy devices thus minimizing the need of replacing STB hardware. User interfaces built using the Cubiware Media Platform can include animations, transitions and effects just like the ones seen in Vector-based graphics software solutions.

Cubiware software is designed to run on low-power, small footprint Digital TV and IPTV processors from all major silicon vendors.

Amsterdam Netherland — ALi Corporation, a leading provider of set-top box (STB) system-on-chip (SoC) solution and Cubiware, an innovative provider of DVB/IP hybrid Middleware, today jointly announced a broad-based collaboration to provide best-of-breed yet cost efficient Hybrid Set-top Box solutions for Pay TV operators. ALi’s first SoC series based on this partnership includes the advanced CA-enabled Linux-based STB SoCs, M3603 and M3383, which will be pre-integrated with CubiTV Middleware and available to STB vendors as a reference design. The products will be exhibited at IBC2011, Friday, September 9 through Tuesday, September 13 at Cubiware’s booth at Hall 5 C35.

ANGA CABLE 2011 – COLOGNE. Polish cablenet Toya has introduced a new hybrid platform that combines broadcast and Internet-delivered content.

The hybrid solution, using middleware developed by Warsaw-based Cubiware, also runs on Conax Contego security. “The biggest challenge was putting everything in such a way that could be consistent for the customer both in terms of over-the-top and broadcast delivery”, explained Toya’s research and development director Simon Karbowski.
