HTML widgets within the Cubiware Media Platform

One of the recent additions to the Cubiware Media Platform is the ability to deploy HTML/Javascript widgets within a Native User Interface application. Thus it is possible to either popup TV widgets on the screen at any point in time or simply render parts of a web page within the user interface.



Widgets and web pages can also be overlayed on top of Broadcast or On Demand video. The introduction of TV widgets to the Cubiware Media Platform was made possible due to the addition of a HTML rendering engine which runs within the Cubiware Media Platform core.
