Differentiate yourself from your from competitors – impress your customers with a fancy product!

High customizability
Take advantage of 3-level customizability of the STB’s User Interface.
  1. Customize the look and feel of the user interface using XML and authoring tools.
  2. Add local content using widgets
  3. Extend functionality and change the application logic using Software Development Kit (CubiSDK)

Easy upgrade to interactivity
Thanks to CubiTV operators can easily start providing interactive services without need of replacing or upgrading current head-end. Interactive over-the top (OTT) services integrated with CubiTV do not require any head-end investment. Screenshots

Here are some screenshot samples from a generic version of the CubiTV user interface as seen on a TV screen. The user interface can be modified to meet the particular requirements of a given system. User Interfaces can be modified by editing XML layout files and replacing graphic files that are retrieved by the User Interface application from the Backoffice server.

Electronic Program Guide - Provides program guide data for all TV channels as well as for N-PVR and Near VOD events. Also includes parental controls, favorite channels and more. Meta-data can be fed either using XML-RPC (Unicast over IP) or can be retrieved by the STB from the PSI/SI tables of a MPEG transport stream.

Main Menu - Enables selection of either live TV events, VOD programming or Internet based video services such as Youtube. Also provides an interface to subscriber specific information such as billing and a self-provisioning module which enables selection of TV and VOD content packages by the subscriber.

On Screen Display - Presents information about the currently viewed channel as well as information about future events.

Video-on Demand - movies library is presented as horizontal cover flow.
